Jazz Bass Style Jazz Bass Style
Over the years there probably hasn't been much Jazz played on the Jazz bass but it's a terrific bass guitar nonetheless and has spawned countless copies. We supply vintage and hot pickups to fit these bass guitars.
Precision Bass Style Precision Bass Style
The grand-daddy of them all! The post '57 model is the bass guitar that most people recognise as the Precision bass with its split pickups. Some people still prefer the first model which was reissued as the Telecaster bass. We have pickups for both models.
Custom Bass Custom Bass
If you play a wide-neck 5- or 6-string bass, classic pickup sizes won't span your strings. For these instruments, EMG's Extended Series pickups are the perfect solution. Available in 3 widths to accomodate any instrument, the Extended Series gives you P, J, and Dual-Coil magnet structures modified for full coverage of extreme string widths. Their identical exterior appearance allows for clean appearance with full flexibility to pick your desired sound configuration. They're the perfect choice if you are modifying or having a new instrument built - just ask premium luthiers like Stuart Spector Design or Modulus Guitars who make the Extended Series pickups standard equipment on their instruments.
Active Bass Pickups Active Bass Pickups
Active bass pickups generally have a hotter output than passive pickups with less signal loss between bass and amplifier, and are less susceptible to electromagnetic interference. They are typified by bright, clear and snappy tones and their pre-amplifiers mean that you generally have more onboard control of your tone.
Gibson Style Gibson Style
Although fantastically successful as a guitar manufacturer - with good reason- Gibson has always struggled to compete with Fender on its bass guitars. Down the years it has had some success with a couple of high profile players championing the cause. Who could forget Jack Bruce in his Cream era and Andy Fraser of Free playing their EB3s? All right now!
Rickenbacker Style Pickups Rickenbacker Style Pickups
Chris Squire of Yes achieved his unique sound with a Ricky 4001 bass. We supply replacement neck and bridge pickups for these fine sounding bass guitars.
Music Man Style Pickups Music Man Style Pickups
After leaving Fender, Leo Fender went on to found the Music Man company which still survives today. A lasting legacy from this era is the Music Man Stingray bass. We supply pickups to upgrade these bass guitars.
